Meet your host
Marie Balthrop is the municipal clerk in Wichita Falls, Texas, and serves as host of Clerk Connections. She served as President of the Texas Municipal Clerk Association in 2018 and prior to that served on the TMCA Executive Board beginning in 2012 in the offices of president elect, vice president, treasurer, secretary, and trustee. She received her Texas Registered Municipal Clerk (TRMC) certification in 2005, and has met the requirements for recertification three times. Marie was named Clerk of the Year by TMCA in 2021.
